Proper care is essential to maintain the quality of your Gorgeous Girl Extensions 

Follow these simple steps to keep your extensions looking gorgeous:

• Brushing

Brush your extensions to remove any tangles or knots at least 2x a day. Use a detangling brush with plastic bristles or a wig brush with metal bristles for best results. 

• Washing

- We recommend co-washing with a nourishing, hydrating conditioner for more frequent maintenance. 

- Cleanse your extensions with a sulfate-free clarifying shampoo. Aim for every 1-2  weeks or when you can see that the hair cuticles have an excessive amount of product buildup causing the hair to be weighed down. Avoid products with heavy oils and silicones. 

-Regularly deep condition your extensions to keep them hydrated and smooth. Apply the conditioner from mid-length to the ends, avoid the wefts and roots prevent loosening. 

•  Styling

- Heat Styling: Limit heat exposure to prolong the lifespan of your extensions. If you must use heat tools, use a heat protectant spray and opt for low heat settings.

• Storage

- To reuse, always be sure to detangle your extensions after removal and before storing them. Sign up the wefts and form all of the pieces in a bundle shape and secure them with a scrunchie or clip. We also recommend putting them in a loose braid or twist to prevent any excess tangling. Store your extensions in a dry, cool place. Keep them in your GGH satin bag they came in. 

• Sleep

-  Before going to bed, loosely braid your hair or tie in a loose bun. This will help to prevent tangling and matting. 

-Use a silk or satin pillowcase to reduce friction that can cause frizz and breakage. 

-Wear a satin sleep cap for extra protection

-Ensure your hair is COMPLETELY dry before going to bed. Wet hair can cause tangling and matting.
